btw the solution is not to split and pull your workers out and give up the base, if you scout the amount of roaches you pump some voidrays but other than that you have to take the fights in your own deathball because it beats theirs when it's only roach--given how small the groups of roaches are you probably only lose one base but position is fine because your opponent just invested all of their larva into a unit you can counter without any effort only leaving this comment because I don't want you to think harstem praising the guy for beating you with a split up force means you would win if you also had a really good split up force, odds are you don't because of your army size

Stutter stepping into the lurkers at 22:10 is actually a good example of "negative micro"; he feels like he's doing well by moving between volleys, but all he's doing is putting more of his units into the lurker splash.

Entire games full of negative micro, which is always super common. Stalkers are big time kings of negative micro because most players control them all at once instead of moving them in smaller boxed groups. The reason to use smaller boxed groups outside of just making blink much better is that you end up with 4 or 5 groups of off rhythm stalkers that spread their damage out. If you control them as one big group you end up with 20 stalkers firing on one roach and wasting a ton of dps.

That's just because the guy has a fast repeat key setting on and is holding down the z key for the lings. You'll notice when Harstem switches to production right on the spike there's 30 lings being made all at the same time. Zerg players tend to have some of the most insane repeat rates because of the unit production mechanic. With the pros there's the old (and true) joke that you can't even type Google on the browser because as soon as you get your finger down it types like 10 g's. It would be extremely hard to macro as a zerg if you had to tap the key 15 times just to make 30 lings. The game still interprets the each "key press" as the apm though, whether they come from a single press or a repeat event. If you make 30 lings in a second that's a huge spike in apm, even if all you did was hold down a key.

To be at least a little critical of the zerg: need evo chamber upgrades, when floating tons of gas and minerals. Make infestation pit at some reasonable time. Hive --> vipers. If they go skytoss, this composition gets rekt.

You wanna talk about REAL imbalance. The Orbital Command is imbalanced. How does orbital scan and mules not have a global cooldown? That's insane! Pay a small mineral tax and get permanent map hacks, and people think that's just OK? No workers? That's fine, did you pay your mineral tax this game? If so you can just survive off of mules. Nexus energy overcharge has a global cooldown with limited range, while the orbital command has no cooldowns with unlimited range. Mules should 100% have a limited range similar to the Nexus range for energy overcharge, and orbital scan should have a global cooldown.

I am a simple noob under 40 APM, Protoss player. I heard that Clem was impossible for you and Maxpax to take out with the new patch. That said from my noob position, I would like to see you try a speed rush if it makes sense. My idea is to rush 2 base saturation build tons of warpgates and atleast 2 forges and the necessary buildings to upgrade zealots with the charge speed boost deal. Focus on getting lv. 3 while pumping zealots down the enemies throat and use the assault as your scouting to know where you build from there. Keep in mind I have only been playing about 2 months now, but I think someone with your APM and skill could make this an effective start. Plus if you can make it work against Clem then I have hope of making the build work myself. If my idea is stupid feel free to Rip it apart in a video I go by Arkenos on North American server.
