In game 1 you could maybe have flown out a probe with your two adepts in the prism. Gives the option of establishing the base early. Also prism can provide power to get batteries building before pylon completes to speed up the establishment of a position. Too hard for me to pull off, but I believe in the Captain!

This is a cool idea! I wonder if banelings win this? Helps with adepts, plus you can bust the front door at the natural and then flood with lings, which would be super annoying. Also, a nydus would be sick...just pressure against your forward base and while your distracted they send a nydus full of lings.

The blink version of this seems like something Parting would have done against zerg. Stalker micro at the front paired with an immortal or DT drop for harass in the main and just pull them apart. I could 100% see him doing this and cheesing a group stage win out of Solar in GSL back in the day

First game i feel if you moges into your buildings and uaed them as cover instead of the minerals you might have won, his units might hit batteries instead of your units and it blocks the lings ?

Awesome idea, maybe this could work against the pros! Could it work faster if you build the first batteries with an activated warp prism instead of waiting for the pylon and nexus?

Oh, and maybe blink stalkers are a good synergy here, because your forest of pylons and batteries is difficult to maneuver through without blink. That could also make disruptors a good idea, since the shots will be harder to dodge if the opponent's units are in a traffic jam amidst the pylons and batteries. Collosi could thrive here, since they can walk over the buildings. I love how you mixed in DTs here, and maybe a couple of adepts for scouting and occasional harassment while the opponent is trying to break your position? I think another part of what's genius about this is that the buildings end up tanking so much damage for you during the fights. Plus you can full wall on 2 bases at home, and expand to a 4th behind your shield base...If you can't win quickly, it seems like skytoss could be amazing here, since it can hit multiple bases just a short distance from the shield recharge. I don't know, man, maybe this could get protoss nerfed. It's probably not actually viable, but I'm also wondering if 2 nexi for super battery and tanking purposes could work at all.

yer prism with batteries under should be in every P push, it allows you to get batteries with pylons online in only 20 seconds, meaning they are up and running at the time you lost your shield and pull back; but no one use it and been screaming about it for a looooooong while... apmhell just destroy strategy and tactics, horrid gameplay design

i do canon rush on the third build with imortals and star port, if they counter atack your main base with rush you just rebuild nexus right there on their third and box them into that 1 base

Also nobody ever scouts third they don't take until like 8 minutes in so your nexus can just hang around there until its already half way done

Great games, love the new Astrea Proxy Nexus strategy. I disagree that you should've let the shade go through with the adepts, around 24:49. I think the chance that the immortal would've been overwhelmed by the zerglings and sniped was too high, and you instinctively knew it.

If i played against humans i would rank in the Aluminium league , would there be any value in you doing a series where you play the AI , but add challenges , like build only one of each unit or structure , or maybe with game mods limiting the player or players , something like the Zombies mod , like when you coached a bunch of lesser ranked player .

when you already has access to prisms, you can fully wall and set a prism as your way off moving ground units out and in off the wall, use recall for drone transfer and be 100% safe from zergling runby's. also on mineral lines, wall them in so they are fully walled and if something that can break the wall comes, recall the drones; and let them wasted the amount off effort and time it takes to break it down and not get any drones for it ^^ need more apm but well

7:18 you pulled the army in the wrong direction, you allowed him to fully surround with lings, you didnt have meat aka adepts for ling take down, and you didnt wall anything on the attack. you also used 400 minerals on a nexus which properly should have been a 2pylons and 2 shield bats before entering his third to have a presetup to start with. you also didn't push continually, allowing him to mass units, instead off shaving units off continually.¨ and still you where only 10 seconds from all bats being up and then it would have been an easy hold. most off your army is also immortals and he doesn't have much with armour so they are kinda wastedfull at this point ^^ also you can do long corridors in walls, like a labyrinth to get in where you get shot all the way, make lings near useless and screws with amove command off most z units ^^

18:53 in very long matches it also empty out their resources as you pull back. you should expand backwards with statics, so once they push too hard just abondon the base and pull 1 step back. first off the base is low on resources or lower so they are forced to push again soon and they will trade really badly so if the game goes on they just straight up starve roughtly at the time you start mining your own side off the map. for scouting, mid-late game, but 1 pylon on each off your sides bases to check he doesnt take them

28:42 you even have way too low amount off batteries. those 400 minerals should have already been 3 finished bats and 1 on the way. which would have held this easily. you need to constantly pressure, as long as your bats has energy keep trading, if they has no energy then built more. 1-2 photon is smart as well, and wall your probes in so they wont get attacked.

Not gonna lie, but I think Harstem needs a little dose of Harstem... I believe he once called out a complaint form for calling a timing attack an all-in. I'm not sure this play is an all-in. The idea is still amazing though. Also, Harstem quote of the video: "I thought about it, I played it against the AI once, so I think this is going to work out." - Harstem, or any gold rated player like myself at any given point.

FINALLY :D been screaming about using offensive battery station with nexus's for recall and overcharge for too long. the general idea off what you can do is very limited on pro players, there is just too many things not utilized that could still be utilized; i am blaming apmhell gameplay for destroying the strategy aspect ;D

30:18 want to see more off it yes. also you don't need to put this at a base, you can put it at a good defensive point instead, effectively shutting down any attempt to bypass it for the rest off the game while applying an insane pressure from it. late tech would be having tempest sit back there and constantly fire in with oracle revelation; if vipers come near move back behind defencee and snipe theem
