I mean that first replay whilst not being as bad as last week's... oof. Stim finished at 8 minutes. Even on NA stim would never finish that late above diamond 3, unless they don't play bio obviously. The zerg did have very good ideas don't get me wrong but everything was too slow to come into play with the timings. That second game on the other hand was fantastic, this guy is masters. The third game surprised me a lot though, on NA, usually what separates the metal leagues from diamond is the response to cheese... metal leaguers cannot handle cheese whatsoever. There isn't as much cheese in masters league though so I guess this was probably the guys off-race and why he could stay in a league that high. (I'm referring to the blue player in this, you can't get much from red I felt like) That forth game, I don't think you guys noticed the 1500 minerals and I think it was 800 gas in the early game by the terran, the strategy wasn't very bad cause it confuses the opponent so much (and I think he had stim, just never used it cause of f2 with the BCs hotkey priority) and you could get to at least diamond 1 with that strategy with stim, however the money floating was too bad and usually people don't use a strategy like that in diamond anyways, which lead me to guess correctly. My score was: 3 0 6 0 = 9

My guesses during the game: Game 1: Diamond 3 (I am a Zerg EU diamond 2 player so I used that to callibrate it.) Game 2: Silver 1 (he knew how to make buildings but not more than that) Game 3: Platinum 2 (it just reminded me of my gameplay when I was plat: bad micro, vague ideas, but not sure how to respond accurately) Comment after seeing the answer: oke, EU is definitely a better ladder than NA, loooooooooool. Game 4: diamond 3 (again: I think I could take this terran) The eu player from game 4 could take the protoss player from game 3. Definitely.

I think the scores for past rank roulettes would be more accurate if they were put relative to Harstem’s. That way, harder sets are balanced out. In this match, Serral would have scored a 0.

Game 1: Pretty good! Game 2: No warp gate 16mins into the game. Game 3: Proxy 2-gate against an opponent who does't know how to full-wall with a cybercore nor micro adepts at supposed masters level on NA. Game 4: Terran keeps engaging exclusively into a hydra concave and is winning, the game is broken. Total clown-town!

G1: D3, 0 points Started out thinking plat/gold due to the terran's lack of sensibility but bumped to diamond due to the baneling runby and control. G2: G3, 3 points Surprised it ended up being as low as it was, I felt I was going too low and that this might've even been Plat due to being on NA. Very confusing game. G3: M3, 0 points Easiest one, it looked just like one of my diamond games but on NA so I gave it a bump. Spending money, walling with pylons, counterattacking, and canceling buildings were moves too high level to be anything below Diamond1 for sure. G4: P1, 5 points I don't get this one. The first BC looked like a quarter decent timing and I thought that plus any follow up would probably win at lower levels, plus both players had workers and bases. Very surprised this was as low as it was, rewatching it afterwards there was even an overlord scouting the fusion core which seems high level. 8 points, my personal best in playing along so far!

I BEAT SERRAL!!!!!! 10 points today. I started even with him. First guess, same points but in the other direction. Second guess, same as Serral. Third and fourth I did better than him. This is the highest achievement I will ever achieve in Starcraft and I think I may need to retire. . . . . Round 1: P2 (3 Points) - There was enough discussed in this that wasn’t quite right, but I also some some things that were on the right track. I’m betting somewhere in Platinum or Diamond, but leaning towards Platinum. Round 2: S1 (2 Points) - Low APM, no micro of the Marines at all. Floats gas like he’s me. Round 3: D2 (3 Points) - I feel like the APM is deceptively low in this one. Red seemed to know what he needed to do in order to make the build work. Round 4: G3 (2 Points) - The time it took to scan when the Lurkers started hitting was late. Zerg appeared to just F2 A-Move based on all of his overseers being in one spot near the fight. I feel this is between silver and gold. Next Guest Guess: I usually have a golden eye for these riddles…

Harstem and/or mod of this channel: if you can compile a spreadsheet of all rank roulette games with this info: Harstems guess Actual rank NA or EU Then I would be happy to perform a quick statistical analysis to see whether Harstem guesses NA ranks significantly different than EU ranks. Unrelated: that game three! If Protoss can play that poorly and be masters 3, I will switch to main Protoss on NA from tomorrow! :D
