Interesting tip! To take the bitterness out of Brussel sprouts cut an X into the base and a delicious way to prepare them is to slightly char them with high heat and red pepper flakes if you are feeling adventurous!

Update: I tried this with friends. Made the mistake of going grocery shopping stoned. We ended up at the store for 2 hours and walked out with sushi and bags of snacks when we were supposed to make buffalo wings drunk that night. Lmao i can't. Sushi was gone before we even made it to the house to drink.

i had a thanksgiving for juan -- stuffed meatloaf, roasted cauliflower head, green bean & mushroom casserole, and Guinness and Guinness -- and it was fantastic! the best meatloaf i ever made, stuffed with fresh spinach, roasted red peppers & capers and then covered with bacon and surrounded by teeny yukon golds. i wish you could've been my dos, Hannah!
