She's taking it very well, she hears a mysterious voice, gets eaten by a dragon, doesn't really fight, falls almost to her death, gets launched back into the air, is launched to the past in the middle of nowhere, is almost trampled to death by a horse and just looks relatively bored through the whole thing, albeit a little startled. She doesn't even swear or anything 😂

Hinata Hyuga Again, no it isn't. Yuugi is set in China, Haruka is in set in historic Japan. Though they are based off the same legends (which are in Japanese tradition and therefore not copyrightable), they are completely different in the way they use them.

Bleh, Haruka is messed up in terms of ordering...1 has a bunch of OVA. I think Ajisai Yumegatari came first, but it's not the best. Hachiyou Shou is the full series based loosely on the 17 volumes of manga, and then the movie, Maihitoyo - but those all belong to Haruka 1. Those are the original characters, set in 10th century Japan. The Miko is Akane. This OVA is from Haruka 2, and there are 3 episodes. Nothing else. This is set in 11th century Japan, so 100 years later. This Miko is Karin. Haruka 3 is set during a civil war in Japanese history in the end of the 12th century called the Genpei War. The Miko in this is Nozomi. There are 3 animated specials for this, plus a few odd random manga chapters. The specials are Kurenai no Tsuki, Owarinaki Unmei and Dan No Ura (in that order). Haruka 4 and 5 don't have animation of any kind, just the games. 4 is set in the mythical era and the priestess is Chihiro, while 5 is set in the Bakumatsu and the Miko is Yuki. I still hope Haruka 5 might get an anime - Haruka 4 won't, now, since the woman who voices the Miko in 1-4 passed away a couple of years ago. There is 1 volume of manga for 4 and 2 volumes for 5 (at present).
