You know, this reminds me of that scene from Black Lagoon Ep.7 where Rock manned up and won an argument over with Revy about her behavior no matter how much shit you've been through which to an extent also describes Mayo's greatest weakness. It probably goes something like this.. "Impudent?! Get real, you damn fool! What about you? You're a selfish, manipulative bitch! And as soon as you open your mouth, all I hear from you is "Taka! Taka! Taka!" You think your a big villain that is trying so hard to won over his heart, but you end up stealing it over instead! There's a limit of how greedy you can be! Are you really that pathetic, don't you have any pride left in you?!" "No matter how you live, you'll encountered suffering one way or another. However, you have no intention of understanding that. And when you can't answer those questions, you rather play as a victim or a tragic heroine. That's the most cowardly thing about you (Mayo)."

I watched this anime with the English dub and I did not like it at all. The Japanese language is very beautiful. The girls’ voices are very nice and feminine and not like this silly language.

Well I'm glad I lookef up reviews before I totally wasted all of my time on eikoden. Whoever made The ekioden Saga should get their ass kicked. Fushigi Yugi was already amazing as it was and they decided to try and ruin that reputation. Whoever made such a terrible character like Mayo clearly has absolutely no talent for writing.
