I love how Childe was mentioned in this video. Lol! As someone who enjoyed Tartaglia's playstyle, Harumasa immediately gave me the same impression. Both use a bow and melee attacks. That is my favorite type of character to play as and I'm glad ZZZ brought over a character like that.

I think the whole, "just a better anton" didnt understood his entire kit. Most of his big damage comes from his enhanced dash attack which is only available after he detonate his traps with his charged shot. He is a setup character and you kinda have to know what u doing or else it would feel like he is doing no damage.

I was stupified on the first few hours I got him since he deals no damage no matter how much I level his basic. Then I realized most of his damage comes from his dodge, and now he's my highest damage dealing dps after Miyabi.

The guy who said that is Jstern25, the biggest theorycrafter for the game. He absolutely knew what he was talking about and he was the one to explain his kit and the best rotations (at the moment) to us. We just got lucky cn bros discovered even better rotations (from 13 hits to 19 hits is a big difference), otherwise Haru would be stuck at Anton level just as it was calculated.

187% crit damage, 52% crit chance and 3050 attack with 32% pen ratio and my harumasa feels sorta mid tbh. Compared to Miyabi he feels like a 4 star honestly. but I love him, he''s fun. I'm wondering if I replace Anby with m2 Grace with my rina + haru comp though, does he really need stun that badly? So far he wants them to be shocked more than stunned considering i use thunder metal

I think its just more of an Anomaly vs Attack DPS situation tho. Anomaly characters in this game are nuts and doesn't really require you to stun to deal good damage. The only time they struggle is when an enemy has immunity or resistance to Anomaly Buildup/specific Anomaly element. Harumasa is an Attack DPS, calcs show he's the same tier as Ellen and slightly below Zhu Yuan who are also the only other limited Attack DPS we have. You just really need to put a bit more effort on dealing damage with Attack DPS compared to Anomaly DPS.
