I wish they would bring back classic white-hulled, mahogany-paneled steam yachts to line the race course with spectators. What a sight that was (of course, only a few yachts of that era are even around any more). Way to go, to both teams. Carry on strongly. Harry Parker will always be with you.

The Thames River in Connecticut is not pronounced the same as the Thames River in England.

Pronunciation is fine but it is NOT the first inter-collegiate athletics contests ever for any university, Unless Oxford and Cambridge don't count as universities!
