I just posted a video on harvest in Canada as well - such a beautiful and busy season! Excellent drone footage, nice and up close with the machinery! Mine was a bit of this and a bit of that, as I wasn't the one doing the crop harvest. Some really cool shots here! :)

What’s better, grain cart with wheels or tracks?
@JBAerial3 жыл бұрын
Both are great, the tracks do ridge when turning which isn't great. But the wheels are only good is you have four wheel steering like the cart in the video. So they are both good in my opinion.

Why is the grain buggy looking backwards? Once the buggy gets to the proper spot the combine operator adjust the speed. Primarily because he is putting the beans in the buggy

Are these your own Combines or contractors (custom)? Have you moved from a farm in a different country? I farm in Norfolk, UK but am considering emigrating to Canada so would be very interested in your thoughts. Many thanks. UK Farmer.

@sumodaze21984 жыл бұрын
At a guess, it might be close to CAD 4million tied up in the 5 S690s, and the 9520rx with grain cart.

What happens when Sheriff Deputies declare war on a farm family in Alberta? Jeremiah Leussink of Leussink Brothers Farms in Alberta found out. Jeremiah is 18 years old and home schooled and he does not watch TV a lot. On July 31, 2020 Jeremiah was driving a family tractor on a public road, going from 1 field to another. He saw some cars pulled off beside the road and did not know what was going on but did not think it affected him. When he got near the stopped cars, a sheriff deputy stopped him, as 5 deputies came running toward his tractor. Deputies climbed ladders on both sides of the tractor, opened the cab doors and began hitting Jeremiah, kicking him and pulling on him from both sides. The deputies on the left won the "tug of war" and fell with Jeremiah to the ground below and all five deputies pounced on him and continued the pounding. Then they handcuffed Jeremiah and put him in the back of a patrol car with his handcuffed behind him and left him there for over 2 hours. Eventually Jeremiah found out the deputies were operating a blood alcohol checkpoint and he did not join the row of cars because he did not know what was going on. There should have been a sign posted, saying,"all vehicles stop ahead". Jeremiah had never heard of a breathalizer and did not know what the checkpoint was. Jeremiah is a non drinker and would have stopped and blowed the hose if someone had told him to do that. Then the deputies called Jeremiah's brother and told him to come and get the tractor. When his brother arrived, they changed their mind and had the tractor impounded and arrested him too. The tractor is a $300,000 Fends with decals all over it saying do not tow or transmission damage will result. A tow truck hooked a chain to the tractor and tore the transmission out of it. The Leussink family had been fighting rainstorms and this disaster caused them to get rain damage on 300 acres of hay in the field. The Leussink brothers do custom farming and they are not rich. They could use a little help at www.gofundme.com/f/leussink-f
