2017 was a record year in SA to vic wheat piled up at every silo under tarps took a bus trip home never seen so much wheat & grain

Not a normal practice here, but when yields are so light due to drought the trucks can be eliminated when storing on farm

"Small John Deere?" That's not a small tractor mate put a smaller chaser on it and you will realise, not always practical to run some massive artic on any price of machinery like the yanks do

JD could pull that cart anywhere. They don't have the most HP but JD designs to last not burn out in 10 years. Also helps keep them within emissions standards without burning up a ton of DEF.

Marcel mo this model Does a pretty good job, with the radiator on the top. The previous model was overheating all the time.

How come I don't see much corn harvested in Australia? Is it too dry? We don't have much here in Saskatchewan but that is because it is too cold.

There is some, but it's under irrigation. In select areas a bit gets grown , but it's nothing in area compared to what they can dry land crop in US

What are they harvesting? It must be hard on axles having such a wide stance. Why don't they move the chopper out of the way so the straw rows are narrow.

Few questions....and my apologies in advance for terminology (I'm from Michigan, US) Is this a custom, family, or booth outfit? The stand looks awful but I've never been over there to know what the "norm" is, but it'be fun to see sometime. Also, as I'm sure you know as the next guy, there's good and bad years. How many bushel are the grain carts?? Hope harvest was good one way or the other for you guys. And great video! Stay safe

Kyle Rifenberg Yes, its been a bad year in this area, because of the long dry period. Not even harvest the half of normal. The chaserbins is 60tons 👌🚜

@@kallekk88 sorry to hear....I know how that goes unfortunately. The challengers seem to move the "chaser bins" darn well for that much grain ... I'm guessing due to the test weight of the wheat

@@kallekk88 I had country rammed down my eardrums all of my growing up years, so it kinda got a little bland on me. If you like it thats ok, your video. I watch Grassmen a lot and they mix the music up quite a bit with country and other stuff. Don't stop making videos, I'll keep watching.

Nice machines. We run 3 760 with 45ft MacDon. Our issue is Graincart is very close maybe 2 ft away. Makes things stressful sometimes. But I Did notice your unload auger is pretty long. Were they ordered like that or is it aftermarket?

Justin Wollmann the headers was ordered with the extra long auger👌 then the chaserbin run in the same trac as the header.

paulin langlois the yeild in the sorgum was not as good as expected. About the chaserbins, the new one is a 60tonner and the 3 older ones, is rebuilt so they are 50t converted to 60tonners, thats why the stickers say 50ton. 😉

På vilket sätt är claas den bästa harvestern? Vad är det som skiljer dem från new holland, massey, och John deere? Har själv bara erfarenhet av massey och John deer. Nyfiken på eran åsikt 😎.

Claas har väl alltid haft ett bra rykte i Sverige, vi har alltid haft dem. Deras twin rotor-system var länge överlägset allt annat tills New Holland kom med motsvarande teknik och deras maskiner är väl idag nästan bättre med en enklare konstruktion. JD's singelrotor har väl aldrig riktigt fungerat i svenska förhållanden, och MF har väl aldrig använts på större gårdar. Däremot så kommer troligen den nya "MF"-tröskan Ideal att bli nästa måttstock, ska blir spännande att se vad det producerar på riktigt i sommar!

@@kallekk88 I worked on a farm a few hours north west of esperence, 3200 ha. It was one if the best experiences of my life. It took us 3 weeks to seed using 1, 40 foot air seeder. And that particular year 2013, they had their biggest yield. It felt like a massive farm to me,but there where farms in the area as big as 70,000 ac. Lol

Is it always that low? That's some insanely thin barley compared to what is normal up here in north dakota. Assuming it must be pretty dry there by the crazy wide spacing you have on the rows.

dean nelson this year is really bad, and had been really dry. Some crops dident not even get harvested at some neighbor farms...

@@deannelson9565 it's not normal but about 3 - 6 tons is about. This year was not normal also in Germany our farms have a lost from 30-60% in wheat to corn, normally they made 3 Cuts for hey this year only at the Bavaria region south German that was possible in the east after May the second cut couldn't happen, we didn't see rain from May to September for Germany that's not normal.

@@kallekk88 yep. Its true. A farmer i saw on the tv here in sa has had such a crap yeild he said he could of sold his huge combine and used the tiny training one instead. Would take long time but more cost efficent. Drought is bad. Government is fucking up farmers faster everyday as they dont care

Das liegt an der bsch** Physik und dazu dem Gewicht. Zum einen hat jeder ballen eine eigene hit Box die etwas kleiner als die Textur ist, dann kommt das der LS keine simulation ist weswegen es beim bale handling schon immer besch*** war. Bei Cattle and Crops ist das handling ganz anders und die ballen verhalten sich auch total anders.

Add some dialogue to the video. Tell us what crop you're harvesting or what's going on. What kind of combine the farm has. If I wanted to listen to music, I've got CDs and mp3 players...just saying.
