Harvest I have no idea if any of you band members will ever see this but this song meant so much to me years ago. I got truly saved in Oct of 89 out in Van, Texas and heard the song "Calvary" and was touched by Jesus' love and grace so strongly. I finally found this song on you tube and you need to update Wikipedia and make sure the song "Calvary" is somehow talked about too so others can find out about this song and can feel what I felt that day all those years ago 😊❤️

I first heard this song in TX in 1989. I'm glad we found it again. Contemporary Christian music has changed so much. Back then you could understand the words.

I am only 26 but was introduced to all the great CCM artists such as Harvest, Dallas Holm, Farrell & Farrell, Keith Green and so forth years ago listening to a Christian radio station that played a lot of the CCM hits from the 70's-'90's. Ironically, it was called Harvest 103.1, well they haven't played music for years but fortunately I have all of my favorites on CD's. Unfortuantely most of these albums have been out-of-print for years, this was truly a great time in Christian music.

The ministry of Harvest saw me through a tough time in my life. I saw them in concert in North Carolina back in the late 80’s. Still my favorite. Highly anointed group. It was sad they broke up.

Beautiful song but most beautiful event and least understood on earth the science and song of eternity. Such a complete mystery to me years ago but maybe yet little understood. How to share the love of God having been seeing it in this limited position. It's why the law of God is to be mediated on day and night. Jesus lived and understood having lived in His father's atmosphere of love light and peace. Here we see it darkly but behold the love of God and we change it changes us inside and out. So thankful for this and other beautiful songs like it.

Yes I remember, I was in my half-ton Chevy, with panels starting to flap in the wind, late on a warm summer evening, windows rolled down, on country roads, in the cornfields of Green Lake county Wis. Maybe I was on my way to work at Mercury Marine third shift, (plant 17 die-caster) on a Sunday night, after a nice day starting at church at Green Lake Baptist Convention Center where my wife and I were married just weeks before, and a few days after our honeymoon in Alaska, where we now live for the past 30 years. I think that was the last time I heard this song, wow memories that come flooding back.

To think the blood flowed 2000 years ago the greatest proof of love to you and me that ever has been declared. Thank you Jesus that blood as the rocks rent the open crack flowed down to the chamber underneath where Jeremiah had secreted the Holy ark and the mercy seat was sprinkled by His own sacred blood that brings forgiveness and redemption when any believe in its power of its promise beautiful song to hear and sing Thank you.

Calvary seven letter word the perfect or complete number. This song says so much always loved it's melody yet the story made little sense for so long. Now still have much to learn and angels are always looking into it. First grasped a bit of it maybe started to mean something when Jesus told me that only by his death could I be forgiven and when I told him that wouldn't be fair. He then told me he had already died for me. That's when unselfish love started to make sense to my heart. Just imagine being like that loving help us Lord.
