Harvest sunflower seeds in three easy steps!

Bec shows us how to harvest sunflower seeds from her sunflower crop in three easy steps. It's a great activity for the kids. You'll be surprised how many seeds to can get from one flower!
As part of our Be Kind Maroondah campaign, Maroondah City Council encouraged residents to plant sunflower seeds in their front garden or in a pot to bring some hope and brightness into their street. Seed packets were also available to share with neighbours so they could plant them too resulting in streets of bright and cheerful sunflowers.
