All other aspects could be points for negotiations, but without those two Russia will simply not stop the millitary operation. That's my personal take on the situation.

I still think the war will end this year. Surprised it has been this long. On November 4th 1918 no one knew just a week later WW1 would end. Their places are being taken by normal conscripts who are much less willing to hold the ground and more open to retreating/ deserting/surrendering. This will accelerate collapse exponentially. Without wild eyed Banderites, the Ukraine govt can much more easily change its political route. So the mathematical question is when, at the present rate of 200/300s, ultranationalist personnel will become insufficient in numbers to exercise effective offense or defense, and start losing grip of their own troops...
