Sounds good in theory but the reality is that markets are not concrete in Nig & local govt have nothing to do with markets. If any of the above applies, then it's no longer a market but a shopping complex & eventually becomes dysfunctional & unaffordable. Govt is a bad business manager. Every country with diff system. This market is actually organized and neat enough compared to most lagos markets. I've seen worse.

Love this video. I am based in Canada and want to be farming in Nigeria. I just can't figure out how to do it well from afar. As for tomatoes, they spoil way too fast. Imo, we need to introduce tinned whole and diced tomatoes. This is common abroad and would be what i would do if i venture into tomato farming.

If you accidentally harvest unripe tomatoes, all you need to do is put them in a brown carton or brown paper bag along with a ripened fruit like banana or anything ripened fruit. With a few days it will ripen.

@aluskysystems1129 also, price of tomatoes fluctuates, as at the time I filmed this video tomatoes was being sold at 40k or 45k per crate....but now some sale 25k or 30k or 35k or even 20k....it goes up and down and a lot contributes to it
