I grew up fishing canals, etc....not the nicest water, particularly in the summer - no ill effects. I think the only place I wouldn't keep any fish would be a golf course pond, because of the fertilizer runoff....a shame, because there are some nice fish to be found there.

It's 6/0 circle hook and always the number hook size before the 0. Like 1/0 or 5/0 of 3/0 or 8/0 Unless your using smaller hooks then it's just the hook number size like size 2 or size 6 or size 8. Your always saying 0 first like your using a 0/6 circle hook. There is no such thing. It just sounds bad when you say it backwards. Unless your dyslexic or a beginner.
