Thanks for recording and posting the harvest video for us. What a bunch of great people, helping each other out like that. I can't imagine how relieved Saul is getting his harvest done when his combine is down. Logan and his family, great people for helping out with their 9560!

Always enjoy watching your corn harvest Aaron. Don't know another way than the way you showed here. Helped combine so much corn. Dad had 1400 acres in 1978 with a 915 IH.

When they ain't eating cheese it's just what Badgers do, it's great fun! Most folks just wouldn't understand the great feeling ya get when fall harvest is going smooth. Happy Healthy Christmas and New Year, and many thanks for your interesting vids!

Really awesome to have all these great neighbors and resources for harvest. Just like a cooperative.
@theburnhams2925 Жыл бұрын
"Just like a co-op" except, perhaps, some of the attendant problems accociated with "co-operatives." We're human, after all, and not ALways NECESSARILY "cooperative." Communities create cooperatives, but rarely identify with the latter; usually rather with the former. At any rate, community spirit almost always outweighs words on paper (and properly archived) "legal" instruments of co-operation! (insofar as most practical purposes would require....like, for instance in this case GETTIN" YOUR CROP IN!!!

yeah, like community spirit. Reminds me of old times.

Another good video, thank you! The "important" thing in this instance is not the "number" on the side of the combine, but its sidehill capabilities (in your "neighborhood" at any rate...) Keep 'em coming...we'll watch whatever you post, because experience has taught us that it's always worthwhile.

Great video Aaron! I never get tired of watching a combine as they are really a marvel of technology. As of this date, 12/06, we still have corn in the fields here in SE WI.

Glad things came together for Saul to finish his harvest. Today's machines have the capacity to make fast work of the job if there's hauling machinery to keep them moving. A good bit of the harvest in our area is completed. Still a considerable amount of corn left. The terminal where we haul to wasn't taking cash corn last week. The yield has been good and the moisture higher than usual...challenging the storage/drying capacity. Hope we get a bit of a break in the weather to get going on corn.

Good to see that combine working away. Thanks for showing the harvest. Look forward to hearing or seeing your corn being taken in. It seems that what every farmer needs to actually go to school for is not only managing their herds and plantings, but to get a ton of training in mechanics. Hope Saul's equipment fix turns out to be not too expensive or difficult. Thanks

Its hard to express the feeling when your when under the gun, with so much to loose, and someone brings equiptment that saves your harvest. Maybe as good a feeling is when it's you providing the help that saves someone's harvest.

I've been done since the 17th of November. had a decent moisture of 14%, and some good test weights. otherwise i run the same combine, except for it being a 9550 sidehill. it runs amazing compared to my old 6620, but sometimes i miss the simplicity of not having so many electronics. As always thanks for another video, I always enjoy watching your family farm!

Nice truck! 2 drop axles and floaters on the drives. Didn't see a lot of tilt on the combine, but if they paid for a Sidehill, they must need it. Saul needs to upgrade to a 6 RN planter, or maybe a 12 RN... 😅 You dance with the partner you have, and the band you can afford to pay. 👍

If you plant with a 4 row narrow planter you would need to plant damn strait to make a 6 row narrow head work. That's why he is only taking 4 rows.
