Long white and red mulberry ..... I have this tree in my house sir. In Bali, this tree can grow so fast .... I make this tree to be a bonsai as well... The taste of this fruit is sweet. Diferent with common mulberry you can find in the supermarket... Best regards from Bali, Indonesia...

All my mulberries are in ground, not in containers. What you see are tree rings for watering. You could try containers but eventually the roots will get too long.

Uncle Fruitopia ,I have both of these brought from nursery but could you please suggest me what is the difference between two plants to be planted on the ground and what's the maximum height of these trees?

The red one is semi dwarf so it's safe to plant in ground almost anywhere, but it stains. The white grows fast and tall, it shouldn't be planted near a house or pipes, requires regular pruning, however it doesn't stain.

What zone are you in? I have a red and white Pakistani. My red is yet to produce and I got cuttings of the white Pakistani from someone in Florida and I grafted it to my dwarf everbearing mulberry. It keeps wanting to grow mulberries but it's still to small I want it to grow a decent size before having fruit

The word Shahtoot is basically from Urdu/persian languages which means King Mulberry. Shah means King and Toot means Mulberry. In Pakistan we have lots of different varieties of Mulberry. Only the long ones is called Shahtoot. The short size Mulberry is called Toot

Shah Toot, is Persian name for large mulberry, In Persian language Shah means king and toot mean mulberry. King Mulberry.

Is Pakistan white Shahtoot and Pakistan White Saharanpur the same plant? I bought a Pakistan white Saharanpur and it says it is hardy to zone 4 while shahtoot sellers are saying they are hardy to zone 9.

These are Pakistan White King Mulberry and Pakistan Red Mulberry. Shahtoot = King Mulberry (indicative of the big size)

It's a shame you have to compete with the birds on the mulberries lol, I know they are perfectly edible now but they still look a few days short of peak ripeness. I'm pretty sure those red ones would almost turn black at their peak but of course once they are that ripe they virtually disintegrate when you handle them 😣😣

Because netting is a pain to undo and redo, it's not fun on the daily. So we get what's there weekly, mostly ripe.

Well the word on the street in your neighborhood according to the birds is , “ Go left, turn right at the end of that street and another right then you’ll run into Garden of eden, that’s free for the picking. Lol At first I thought it was a mirage but no, delicious things grow there year round. Anyway I don’t think birds can ravage the whole mulberry tree with it being as productive like it normally gets on a full grown tree. Only thing is they poop all over ur tree and fruits and damage fruit by incompletely finishing fruit and hooping to the next one...... And it’s up to you to change the word on the street to , “ Don’t go left and turn at the end of the street or you’re a goner. That’s dude’s got a 12 gauge shotgun. Lol jk
