WOW what a year you are having with your garden. You have done a great job this year. With all you have grown you should have a great canning season. I’m jealous. I was so proud of my tomatoes this year. I have canned 50 jars so far. I love it. Have fun canning or freezing. Keep us posted. So happy for you. 👍🇺🇸

Totally agree about the increased yields this year do to the flowers bringing in the pollinators! Just seems like the garden and orchard exploded this year. Nice to get the extra help picking and preserving from your mom! Your carrots are amazing - I'm jealous, LOL. Can't wait to see if the potatoes exploded as well. And I look forward to seeing the farm after the trees were cut. Thx 4 the tour.👍

The next video covers all of the logging!! and I know, they seem to be a total game changer for the trees and garden! I love seeing all of the bee's and butterflies :) and I am so excited to start digging up potatoes

I posted a comment but I somehow deleted it, oops! Venison tacos sound bomb diggity!! Are those meat birds red rangers?
@TheNorthBranchWI Жыл бұрын
Mexican food is superior imo haha venison tacos are amazing! I just need to get a mill now lol And yes, they are freedom rangers from freedom hatchery. They are the only kind of meat bird I have raised. They forage like crazy so I think its worth the extra time to raise them. Have you raised any rangers? The butchering videos I have seen from you were with cornish right?
@HomesteadOnAPrayer Жыл бұрын
Your garden looks really beautiful and productive! That’s definitely a tomato jungle in that greenhouse. I’m curious to see how you make your corn tortillas - that’s something I plan to try (not with homegrown corn unfortunately) but I haven’t gotten to it yet. It looks like you’ll have an amazing fruit harvest too!

As an Irish follower.......more potatoes!!! :D Still gotta get a good chilli plantation going in your warmest greenhouse for your Mex food supply though! Keep kickin ass friend 👌

how do you feed such a dense garden
@TheNorthBranchWI Жыл бұрын
I try not to till and add a bunch of compost on the raised beds! Compost was a big expense last year but now I am working on making my own. My philosophy is to always be building soil. I am also planning on keeping my chickens in the garden area this fall! I think that will help a lot.

It is a great sin to speak of the future with assurance. It means you are presuming to know the mind of God. When you speak of the future, say"Lord willing". We are not guaranteed our next breath, and we are certainly not guaranteed tomorrow. Keep up the good work.
