"Alone Again" has been a favorite tune, from childhood until now- Gilbert's lyrics beautifully illustrate how everyone can feel lost and alone, which makes actually dealing with loneliness easier. Always have loved Gilbert's vocals, and it's great to see him still so active and positive. Thanks for all the great work and memories, Gilbert!

Great to run across this interview, I was the trombone player on the 1974 USA Tour, Maurice McGovern was on that tour (There Has to be a morning after) we had a pretty wild time, can't hardly believe it was that long ago , for those of us who are still here I wish you all the best and Hi... I still have my black turtle neck sweater with a great big letter "G" on it but I dought if I can still fit into it😂 nice to hear Gilbert that you are still playing piano and writing songs, Best Wishes....

I had the pleasure of seeing Gilbert perform live a couple of years back. It was at a small venue in Los Angeles, very intimate. He was amazing. I never thought I'd have a chance to see him perform. He did a meet and greet before the show. He signed some items for me and chatted with me. One of his daughters was with him and she was sweet and accommodating to the fans. As an added bonus Engelbert Humperdinck was in the audience. He took a photo with me. Thanks Harvey for bringing us this wonderful interview. As always you hit it out of the park!
