I wish Nick could have met his father , you can absolutely tell he is Mo's son. I listened to their song Tragedy and it is an amazing tribute to their family and i swear Nick sounds a lot like Robin when he is singing as well . I wish Nick and Deb much success in their venture .

Wow I just went and listened to tragedy and it truly sounds beautiful. I think Barry Robin and Maurice would be proud of the version! You both have very nice voices! I am a die hard fan of The Bee Gees and for some reason, Maurice has always been kind of an enigma to me. Barry is amazing and seems to be such a kind man. Robin seems to have depth and was a real thinker. This just all my thoughts on them. I wish I had been able to see them in person when they were all with us. The two brothers were taken far too young. Good luck to you both on your musical endeavors. Music to me is healing and soothing. My family is musical and it is how we unwind. ❤

Maurice was quoted many times calling himself, "The Man in the middle." His voice , imo , was not as good as the other two, but he made up for it in arrangements, playing instruments and being a musical genius. For the Bee Gees to be successful it took all 3 of them.for & I feel Maurice was the glue that helped keep Barry & Robin together and be somewhat civil towards each other. Family dynamics! Lol.. They were wonderful .

When I was approached by a renowned UK publicist to have the “Cousins Gibb” on our show, I must confess that I hadn’t heard about them. Although Nick Endacott-Gibb’s story of discovering his true paternity made worldwide headlines, somehow I missed it. I listened to the 2 songs he’s recorded with his cousin Debora, and I just knew I had to have them on the show. I’m so thrilled to be the first North American interviewer to introduce “Cousins Gibb” to my viewership. I hope you enjoy watching this interview as much as I did conducting it.

I am a lifelong BeeGee's fan - since they arrived back in the UK in 1967- and I adore the Ballad version of Tragedy! All the very best to Nick and Debora, the cousins Gibb. I was aware of Lesley Gibb and it is nice to know her daughter can sing, like her mother.

Nick and Debora’s voices blend so beautifully in true Gibb Fashion. The hairs on the back of my neck literally rose as I listened to “Tragedy” (remade) for the first time. I really enjoyed your songs and I really really hope you make more. It would be be so wonderful if Barry got a chance to meet his brother Mo’s son. A nickname Barry lovingly uses during concerts on KZbin. I wonder how your uncle Barry felt upon hearing your version of Tragedy. Have you ever spoken to him about your father? What your father was like? I’m so sorry Nick has Rheumatoid Arthritis. It’s such a painful, dreaded, and disabling disease. I ended up giving up my career as a nurse. I’ve had it for 12 years but fortunately Actemra (I think of as a miracle Med) has allowed me to be able to have less pain, less swelling in my joints but more importantly I can walk, I am no longer bed ridden, like before. I do hope and pray that you have a brilliant Rheumatologist, the life saving meds, and lifestyle changes that can help you deal with this dreaded disease and all the other diseases that seem to follow along with RA(Rheumatoid Arthritis).

In 2019 is when I found out via autosomal DNA and my brothers Y DNA that we were not who we thought we were either. Our dad was already dead by then but it turned out our paternal grandfather was not the man on Dad’s birth certificate. The surname thing is also a big thing to wrestle with. Do you change yours, or leave it? We decided to leave ours the same since it was our fathers surname all of his life. We have tons and tons of newly found cousins. 4 of them are half 1st cousins that we found as a result of DNA. In fact that is what got it all started. I knew I should know these matches but had no idea who they were.

I can't find anything more recent than these several interviews and the "Better Days" record released on Maurice&Robin birthday 12/22 (in 2022) 5 months ago. It is beautiful and written for Maurice!!! I think Debora is on it also! I hoped to find more recent information on growing family relationships. (?) I will keep watching...

Oh I absolutely love the BGs vocals n hooks, n oh the harmonies..nothing like the Gibb brothers, it went to #1 so it was a hit!!!! But I have an open mind, to listen to this version...

I actually THOUGHT that the song Tragedy would be good done slowly and when listening to their version, that is basically what I thought it should be like. The fast is good (and very "Bee Gee') but the slow is better for the sadness of it.

I always thought it was Moor-eeece also, in the US the spelling is pronounced Moor-eeece. The spelling Morris is what is used here.
@CandiiClark2 жыл бұрын
Well , even listening in the United States you would pronounce his name Morris, because if you ever listen to any interviews with them that's how they pronounced his name. It wasn't always the written word. But it is a very common mistake for people who didn't listen to lots of interviews. And live and breathe Bee Gee like I did from a small child on up.
