Thanks for the demo (and thanks, too, for all your other great FD-related vids.) It added to the excitement over the arrival, setup, and running of first batch in it. SO psyched up! It works GREAT. I now have an extra gallon of the JB oil (for ~$27, via Amazon.) I ordered one of these Harvey's; but it has not yet arrived. I figure it definitely should pay for itself quite quickly, in terms of potential oil expense saved, and wear and tear on the pump.

Ordered mine almost a month ago. No response from the company as of yet. I have now sent them 2 e-mails and have not heard from them. No shipping info and no response to my e-mails on order status.

About how many times can you reuse the oil and how long can you got between cleaning the pump doing this?

Probably the best way to answer that is to refer you to another video. Although the video's subject is not that question specifically, it does show some oil that has been in use for over 1 1/2 years and has processed 100 batches or more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3aQZHeZm7ySZ8U I still clean the pump at fairly regular intervals, perhaps 30 -40 batches or so. Certainly Harvey can extend the time between cleanings, but the difference for me isn't as much in the time between cleaning, but the cleanliness and condition of the pump at the time of cleaning, which one assumes can only improve its efficiency and extend its life.
