I like how the writers finally gave Mike and Harvey the short end of the stick. It not only humanizes them but shows how important it was that Louis didn't waste time whining about how he thought his client did it and just did his job

7:26 admitting you overspent by $100 million for reasons not related to the profitability of the firm is a violation of your fiduciary duty, and could spark a shareholder lawsuit (and presumably the shareholders won't want to leave you in charge to shut down the pipeline).
@henrypeters52915 ай бұрын
It also reduces their financial liability. Spending $100 million on remediation is better than being sued for $2 billion if something goes wrong.

I am not a Suits "Aficionado" so please forgive me if what I suggest has already been done... but I think a special cameo by "Will McAvoy"(Jeff Daniels) would be "over the top"... You could even make a loop back to your pilot episode with Will McAvoy being who was supposed to receive the "package" for a "newsroom" article on drugs...

This is so entertaining, but so inaccurate from a legal standpoint. This all revolves around the "Bull dog" of a DA that's going to "Rip the witness to shreds". No. That's a TV myth. Courtrooms are pretty dry and boring. There's no ripping anyone to shreds by screaming at them on the witness stand until you get the response you want. You can ask questions, and you get the answer you get. Just about every legal trope on TV/film relating to cross examination is so overblown and ridiculous that it makes you laugh more than anything. The worst of it is Harvey and all of the other attorney's constantly telling the clients "no". This is also not a thing. An attorney's job is to pursue the outcome desired by the client. That's it. You can recommend, you can warn, but at the end of the day, you are paid to try to accomplish their ends.
