Finger Tapping and compression on his solo records, which can be heard on Shangranade and Feel the Sound of Harvey Mandel. A fusion guitarist mixing blues, rock, jazz, funk, and country.

It is a great track, one of his best compositions, and an improvement over his earlier recording of Midnight Sun. By the time he recorded this LP, Mandel had fully developed his unique style and tone, as well as the tapping technique that surfaced again a few years later with EVH.

1973 - the tapped guitar section at the end surely predates Eddie Van Halen et al by quite a long way!
