Harvey Weinstein Accuser Speaks Out After Verdict Reversal

Some of Harvey Weinstein’s accusers are speaking out following the stunning reversal of his sex crimes convictions. Model Ambra Guttierez says Weinstein put his hand up her skirt during a meeting in his office in 2015. The model reported the incident to police. To bolster the case against Weinstein, cops asked her to wear a wire during a follow-up meeting at a Manhattan hotel. However, Weinstein was not charged in that case. "Stine" is the original German and Yiddish pronunciation. "Steen" is the Americanized pronunciation. Einstein lived in Germany, so his name kept the original pronunciation. Weinstein's family lived in the US, so his name has the Americanized pronunciation.

It wasn't because of lack of evidence, or because the women waiting too long. There clearly was enough evidence, otherwise he wouldn't have been convicted in the first place -his attorneys just found a legal loophole allowing him a retrial. So it was overturned because of technicality not because the Supreme Court thought he was innocent or the women were unbelievable. Him getting a new trial doesn’t mean he's going to win the next one, or he's going to walk out a free man anytime soon, he still has to serve time for his California conviction, and that's like 16 years. He's in his 70's, he's probably going to end up dying in prison
