Had a bunch of those boxes at one time. Really liked them but they didn't last long. Some went bad fast and some lasted a few months. One was so new I was pulling the carb off and checking wiring. Seems the advance goes out of them. All the ones I have now are the plain black ones.

they sell converter plugs to make those casoli cdi boxes a plug in an play system . ..so you don't have to cut the plugs just throwing that out there

all of the china casoli cdi, I serviced never lasted long and never had that much increase in spark advance, not sure what is wrong, perhaps we got a bunch of bad ones, just got the blue casoli cdi dc, it does not allow the motor to run past 5k? no good, if anyone else has any comments about the dc cdis, please let us know which actually work well.
