Other Times Asta Either used an inferior form to surpass a superior form OR surpassed a form in just his base: -Base Asta in the Elf Arc Surpassed His Witches Forest Black Form. After the events with the Witch Queen, she healed him to make his physical base even stronger. Despite this, Mereoleona blitzed and one-tapped Black Asta. Later on in the elf arc, Asta is faster than Mana Zone Mereoleona, can tank her attacks in base, and can even fight Elf Rhya in base. -In the mid-TS, Asta surpasses his Black Form 2 Black Divider with just his black form 1 while fighting Gaja. Later on, Gaja considers Asta stronger than when he first started training him. He thinks of this when Asta is only in his base, and can fight the other Spirit Guardians. Since Asta first fought Gaja with Black Divider, this is an implication that Asta had surpassed Black Divider Black form 2 in just his base. This is eventually supported when Asta can use Black Divider in Base with one hand. When before he struggled and needed both hands to wield black divider in Black Form 2

By learning the full understanding of ki that gives him access to be able to manipulate his magic like a normal mage he will get access too; Anti-Barrier Magic, Asta will maybe be able to create a whole anti-barrier around himself or put his enemy in it like how Juiles does his own. Anti-Compound Magic, Asta will be able to control his magic to be able to combine both anti-magic and magic to be together for a combination attack. Furthermore, he will be able to allow what spells can be placed on him, for example Yuno star magic teleportation spell and not allow spells that he doesn't want to be placed on him. Anti-Creation Magic, Asta will be able to manipulate his anti-mana without any physical weapon to assist him with his anti-magic he will be able to utilize his anti-magic in thin air like Yuno and Party. Anti-Curse/Seal magic, Asta will probably be able to curse or seal the user to not be able to use magic again. Anti-Forbidden Magic, Asta will be able to use more demonic wed magic to enhance his anti-magic even more than before. Anti-Healing Magic, In the clover no matter what type of magic you have you can still heal yourself, for example, fire magic healing fire magic. Asta will be able to heal himself with his anti-magic but for others, it will do the opposite like destroying their life force. Anti-Magic Attributes, Asta might be able to manipulate his magic to feel like fire, ice, electric or something else. Anti-Magic Techniques, Asta might finally learn ruin or mana-method from Zora, Magna and the heart queen similarly. Anti-Reinforcement Magic, Asta will able to enhance his anti-magic body more sufficiently than before this could help to increase the devil's duration transformation, ok it looks like Asta learnt this but he didn't, what he did was he, basically skips an important part what all mage, for his case he went straight to devil union just like spirit dive doesn't last long like Yuno own. Anti-Restraining Magic, is similar to curse/seal but a weaker version of them since, it is anti-magic it will not only block the user's magic but any magic item they are carrying will be deactivated too. Anti-Trap Magic, Asta might be able to trap his enemy like how Zora dose his own. Anti-Weakening Magic Asta could weaken their magic spells which could be good support for his alliance. Communication Magic umm asta can keep one for the sake of it.

True devil union was achieved and is as far as they've been. The time limit is the real Achilles Heel of their devil union. A PERFECTED True Devil Union with extended time limit is where they SHOULD be. They are holding back against Ichika because they don't want to hurt her. She IS Yami's sister after all. Mastering Ki and Zettin along with a PERFECT True Devil Union has yet to be seen. I predict that it will eventually lead to them being able to use their grimoire, something that has yet to happen. More of my crazy theories again.

Yeah. Master Ki then Master anti magic and get anti magic pseudo spells (Beams, Blast, Balls, Blades and finally: exterior essence control aka wind like spells but with anti magic) Those could be grimoire spells or they could be regular spells/pseudo spells that don't need grimoire. They'd be named in the beginning, but they'd eventually be just a regular un named attack. And full on spells would be like Natchs shadow spells. Something more complicated. It's just part of the natural progression. The ability to willingfully and consciously manipulate anti magic inside and outside his body. Learning these will also probably ×3 his strength boost that comes from anti magic. Asta strength, in all form, base included comes from Muscle + Ki boost + anti magic boost. Btw, as broku said in an old video, asta always had shitload of Ki. Thats how he was that strong.

I don't get it how can he get 25x stronger in one day just by facing off against magna and luck i understand that they got stronger but Asta has the cheat code to magic he can't be measured like everyone is the golem and the spider were tricky fighters for Asta due to them both having abilities suited for hand to hand combat and that is the only thing Asta has while Leopold can attack from a distance with high firepower more suited for combat when fighting that creature and even still it didn't even affect the spider that much he just backed away figuring it wasn't worth it moving on to Leopold and the golems I think he didn't do good against them goes back to my opinion on he didn't really even hurt the spider so I can understand while luck and magna did better and Asta did so good against both of them due to the fact it was a better match up he has ki so its easy for him to see attacks and cut them and they aren't as strong physically to due anything once Asta is up close and they don't have much durability when compared to that spider I mean its not like DragonBall where everyone has the same set of skills so if you have more power that means your stronger for Asta at least if we could ever compare anti magic to real magic or if we took out the anti and just gave him dark magic he would be weaker than yuno by far and maybe on the level of Leopold or magna but the reason he can be on that level is that anti magic covers the gap so even if he doesn't have pound for pound more magic than you he can still win due to the fact that all he has to do is be relatively near your magic power for him to have the ability of canceling it as we have seen in the megicula fight he can still cut her weak spells but since she is so much stronger he couldn't even erase the entire curse on lolopecheka due to the attack being so much stronger in magic terms than what his own anti magic could do.

Alright firstly asta's already blitzed lucifero before in chapter 327 when he simultaneously saved yami and Nacht and kicked lucifero before lucifero can even react and was still in the same punch form. On top of that, the coordinated attacks asta lands on lucifero were meant to get rid of lucifero's incoming appendages as counter attack, the one attack lucifero landed on asta in chapter 328 "didn't send him flying" and lucifero barely dodged one attack from a damaged, tired asta. Mind u lucifero lost in mere seconds, there's no way lucifero is anywhere near this asta that only ever used his demon slasher and again was weakened and hurt.

The partial usage of Devil Union was stated to be denser and stronger than regular Devil Union since it concentrate on a single point not the whole body. But statement wise Asta said they're stronger than what they were vs Lucifero which would suggest any character that fought Lucifero is stronger than their version that fought Lucifero which includes True Devil Union Asta It's also gets supported by how much stronger Yuno is with him being an actual threat to Lucius who's far stronger than Lucifero and Lucius based on Ryu statements haven't fought seriously yet... Base Lucius post timeskip can use Lucifero's power in addition to his own time magic and magical power thus base Lucius is far stronger than even 100% Lucifero since he was stronger than 50% Lucifero after eating half his heart and just took the other half later in the flashback. And Asta saying they're stronger now would also imply that the Asta that defeated Lucifero would stood 0 chance vs this base Lucius

There is no logical explanation that this Sasuke wanna be is stronger then the King of Devils. This also makes the Dark Triad arc pointless, because these people would make short work of the Devil Invasion.

Lucifero was set up to be the strongest being in existence, even Lucius had to resort to years of planning an trickery to bring him down. But what do we have here, a captain level character displaying strength and feats way beyond an Asta that stomped 50% Lucifero (and could probably challenge a 100% at this point). This would be like if Luffy got mid diffed by Lucci in the new arc, after the guy beat Kaido.
