you cant compare joes roots bazball and pre baz ball stats because pre baz ball he maintained an average of 49 throught out 100 plus test matches this is just 10 or 15 games

And how many of those runs were made on absolute belters? Root pre Bazball almost always came in to bat at 20/2 facing the new ball and averaged 50. In the Bazball era he had a better cushion of facing an older ball along with flatter tracks. The jump in average is negligible when you consider the rise in higher risk % strokes he plays.

My first thoughts when the video began was, I will not be judging this guys sincerity and the value of his commentary by the lakers hat. But mate, you didnt disappoint. When you're correcting yourself to still be wrong, its just not your day. Seems like the people around you couldnt care any less either. But, the rest of the analyses still had some value, so its not all that bad.

They want to play the fearless brand of cricket. But the 2nd innings in Rajkot looked like complete opposite. Both teams looked like they were playing on different pitches. They cant blame the pitch. But they should agree that they faltered. This is bound to happen when you happen to play rash shots instead of being smart and play to the match situation. At least this match could have gone to the 5th day.

Bazball is nothing but aggressive style of approach and play shots as per their comfort. Ben Stokes is a smart guy. So, he is playing conventional test cricket and when required he will switch gears.

So many cricket podcasts but none of them invite an Umpire, a Match Referee and a Third Umpire to get the complete picture...when you are talking about the "Game of Cricket" and the most important decision makers are absolutely ignored...says a lot about the KZbin game of earning money and trying to sound right...If you really like the game to grow, include everyone in your podcasts...Groundsmen, Umpires, Match Referees, people from the cricket boards...when you guys talk about the pitches and outfields and make comments, why only speak to the players??? Everyone is complaining England for their fearlessness in the approach towards playing the Test cricket. When the Hyderabad test match was won, Bazball won. But when the England team lost, Bazball failed. All the criticism is not fair. We need to wait till the end of the Test series to see how Bazball has worked for the England team.
