The answer is yes and the entirety of Boruto the answer is yes things are too OP. The next generation will surpass the previous is utter bullshit. It took a millennium for anybody close to Indra and Asura and they were weaker than Hagaroma and Hamura, and then it took over a century before anybody who could match, Hashirama and Madara, and even then it took Kaguya to stop Madara, and Sasuke and Naruto being amped by the Sage of 6 Paths to stop her. Arguing that anything Kaguya+ related makes sense, is also a flimsy argument at best. It was a desperate ass pull by the editor so their Shonen battler didn't have to get smart to challenge the next generation, instead of just continuing DBZ style number go up.

Idk if Boruto would really have a chance against Jura if we take into account we’ve only barely seen Jura go 10% while we’ve seen Boruto pull out his most destructive jutsu already (the almost full power Uzuhiko) granted he may have something else under his sleeve, but Jura seems like a different beast compared to Hidari at least (since he’s the only other Shinju we’ve seen in battle fr)

Can someone explain to me how skipping all the major character development is good writing? seems like unearned power amps solely for the sake of resolving the main conflict, which lifetime fans won't even be happy with in the end. It should go without saying, but if it was really a great story then it would have unanimously great reception (which it doesn't). I'm convinced the only people who care about Boruto the anime are the people who just obsess over power scaling as if it's a game. It isn't. It's a poorly written story with an ass ton of marketing.

@@leek5682 this video kinda explains it, but for the rough idea, boruto wasn’t simply granted everything and it’s actually very logical as to why he became strong, I agree there are many instances in the Naruto verse where a character just gets stupidly strong because it aligns with the plot rather than it being earned narratively. But boruto isn’t like that, he is a very flawed character who has had many mental barriers that have prevented his growth and a lot of his training was overcoming them, but since it all happened during the timeskip we won’t see it just yet, just stay patient as we move into the slower part of the story and it will all get explained

(not saying they beat boruto but they would of gave him a better battle) Boruto is indeed the strongest in the verse but he had time to learn about these villains thanks to koji so he has all the intel and prep

its very tricky, since he either no diffed his opponents or he wasn't fighting them and was caught off guard (like against jura and mamushi), but base boruto scales far above isshiki and baryon mode naruto and the problem is we don't know how strong shibai was, we only know a few feats, and shibai is the next strongest/ the actual strongest character, he is probably stronger than daemon although we haven't seen how strong daemon is after the timeskip, and thats all in boruto's base, the karma gave boruto an amp that took him from high jonin level to mid otsutsuki level, meaning if he is already at high otsutsuki level in his base, it isn't far fetched to say that in his karma v2 he will be approaching shibai level, and I think with the jougan he will surpass shibai, since toneri stated that boruto will one day surpass the powers of otsutsuki with his jougan and shinobi fighting style, implying he will surpass shibai

Can you really say hes stronger than baryon mode naruto and isshiki though imo i dont think he is and i think it does make sense considering every shinju is stated to be an above code level threat and there's multiple off them coming so i do feel boruto getting this strong makes sense plus for me honestly i believe boruto as a character should get stronger in according to the stakes of his own story following his character concept and i dont think we can even quantify how powerful shibai is so to say boruto will exceed him or has even exceeded naruto and isshiki is a stretch to me but i say understanding he did oneshot hidari an above code level threat but that was with assistance. @@itseokoro1944 I agree with what you are saying and I think you are right when you say we can’t guarantee boruto is stronger than isshiki or baryon mode Naruto since boruto hasn’t fought anyone that is definitively stronger or on par with either of those guys, I’m just taking the narrative insinuations of how strong boruto is and we will have to wait until we see boruto properly fight an isshiki level threat and I said in my newest video that I released that shibai’s power is not only unknown but unquantifiable since we don’t know how much stronger he was than someone like isshiki, all we can do is assume. I think boruto came back a little too strong however as it leaves too little room for him to be forced to use the karma since when he uses that again which will be a huge moment, he will be like unironically 100x stronger than before, if you know what I’m saying, I agree with him getting a lot stronger but I think it might be a bit too much but we will see

@@tf_anime and the narrative is seemingly subtly setting up momoshiki as a chaos agent and while yes he may be too strong again I'm in the camp that kawaki hasn't mastered karma because if he has he'd be stronger than code and he isn't boruto even warned him in chapter 3 end to stay away from code and karma I don't think it's been put in the back burner as I personally think we will get that but later on as we building the shinju threat, the 5 great nations want blood for boruto and shikamaru is under suspicion right now so alot going on and there's shinki and the new shinju reveal plus I think a villian who needs more justice is jigen and we need to see how the world was impacted with the loss of Naruto and sasukes betrayal like the hokage memorial arc where from sarada, himawari and kawaki we see how much the world has changed and we also see what led to shikamaru becoming hokage and the reactions from important figures in short we need more political dynamics right now and world building than anything else imo.

I think you might be wrong here. I agree in boruto part 1 in the last 20-30 chapters we saw nothing of the side characters which obviously caused alarm bells to start ringing about how they are getting written off again, but tbv is showing that the writers clearly want these guys to play a large role since the emphasis on showing their relationship together as well as showing them fight, which is way more than we got in part 1 altogether and these chapters were only setup for more of them in the future, meaning we can expect to see way more of these side characters with their own fights and manga coverage, and even more proof of this is with the signifcantly varying powers of the shinju, as they continue to multiply all the writers have to do is turn a character close to the side characters into a shinju and bang there is their fight, meaning if they fight one of the shinju, with their objective being to get the soul thorn then it means they have actually valid and meaningful fights which allows for not just coverage on their powers and personalities but it also means they can all go through character development arcs, and I think this is the direction the story is heading right now. So don't worry

boruto has low chakra compared to naruto. he waa limited to three shadow clones. and he has better chakra control than naruto. momo taking over, part of momos stats and chakra replaces borutos. trained up boruto is possibly still below daemon
