We don’t expect leaders to be infallible. We just expect them to hold to a certain code of ethics and if they can’t/ won’t they shouldn’t be leaders. It’s not about that at all.

I'm just an old lady now, who's life has been impacted by all of these leaders in some way. Some of them more than others. They are 'members of my family so to speak. I feel so broken, so sad. These people have influenced and impacted millions of lives and now its all rotten to the core. I feel like throwing up til all I have left is dry heaves. Then I want to just go find a cave on a mountain and crawl in and never go down the mountain again. I know this is God and I celebrate Him for what he is going because His son will have his bride sooner or later. Remembering that a day is as a 1000 years and 1000 years as a day to Him. He loves us. Jesus washed Judas' feet and King Manasses, the worst king of them all repented and was forgiven and buried in Jerusalem with the other kings. We have a great God full of love and mercy but who is Holy and pure and a God of justice also. But my heart is broken at how low we have fallen. It wasn't like this in the beginning.

I don't believe there is true repentance, without acknowledgement of what done by the perpetrator. It is not right to expect victims of any kind of abuse to experience validation without acknowledgement. Some form of restitution (paying counseling fees,etc,) or recompense should be given. If the perpetrator does not appear to feel any genuine remorse or compassion towards the victim, but only for themselves, then God will judge them in the end.

No, lust for a woman in the heart is not adultery. When scripture talks about adultery that is punishable under the law by death, it is an actual sexual act. No one has ever been stoned in the Bible for lusting after a woman in the heart. If adultery is about lusting for a woman without sex then every single man is adulterous including you, my friend!!!

Aside from the mention of Matthew 5:29-30 in your previous video, no one else is applying Matt 5:28… Dr Brown claims none of these incidents crossed a physical barrier (a blatant lie) yet, Jesus says if you lust after a woman in your heart, you have committed adultery. Phone s-x is most certainly lusting in one’s heart. All of these moral failings are such an indictment on Christian ministry. And My heart is sick over the experience of these victims, as a survivor of CSA.

Each time someone publicly repents, many people rush and produce videos and blogs saying that it was not good enough or genuine repentance.I have never seen any public repentance has been accepted by people. If anyone has seen or there is one they consider genuine repentance who they have accepted their public repentance, let them name one. Left for me all this public repentance is nonsense, no matter what you say, they will accuse you of not truly repentance, just being sorry for being caught, or say you did not speak enough about the victim or you are just concerned about your reputation. This public repentance is nonsense, it just creates a talking point for critics, gossip in the name of exposing the truth. This public video only creates content for online video makers or bloggers for generations to come to use against you, Christianity or your family.

I think Dr Brown has an infantile level of discernment. Where are the elders that hold him accountable? Why does the church keep allowing these men to run wild? All of these NAR entrepreneurs are a disaster to the body.
@adeodata63649 сағат бұрын
@@Stickythekid It's not an infantile level of discernment. It's the typical behavior of a narcissist and abuser. If you have never met one, it's difficult to understand the subtle obfuscation, manipulation gaslighting and deception. At first glance it looks & sounds like a genuine call for forgiveness. Unfortunately each time Dr. Brown talks or writes about this, he gives further proof of what his root problem is. It's so very sad to witness. I've benefitted a lot from his "Ask Dr. Brown" show, I grew to be fond of him& I believe he truly loves the Lord and wants to serve Him with all his heart. I think he could still save his reputation and ministry if he truly repented. But what he is showing here, unfortunately, seems to be sorrow over his present situation (the shame of being publicly found out) more than for his past sin, which he continues to downplay. I'm sure he is somewhat sad for "Erin" too. But the problem isn't that she has had "something serious against him all these years", that he wasn't aware of her suffering and has to make it right! THAT is NOT the problem! The problem is what he specifically did to her very practically- also hiding part of it at the time (so he knew it was wrong, didn't he?!)- while holding everyone else to the highest, strictest standards! THAT is the problem, and he still can't face it, so he can't really repent. We must pray for him and for all the people involved. All of us are capable of the worst things without the continuous grace guidance and protection of God. Lord, please give profound repentance, healing, restoration and peace! 🙏

Brown isn’t required to tell us all the details and publicly confess anything. Browns family and the female’s family need to figure things out without going public. I don’t see why you’re judging “true repentance” by how much Brown revealed to us. Someone needs to talk about Sarah that clearly plays a part in all of this. Not only she has fault but she didn’t need to go public. Joseph, the father of Jesus is a great example.
