Hey guys, quick (small) correction: At 2:27, the 2022 QX60 has a *3.5*-liter engine, not a 3.6 - it's the same displacement VQ35DD engine (with the same 295 horsepower) as before. Sorry for that slip-up!

I’m so glad they ditched the POS CVT! I’d now consider this if I was shopping for a SUV in this segment. Nissan has been a mixed bag for me so far. I’ve owned a 4 cylinder and a V6 Altima and a 350Z convertible. The two Altimas were fine for the first 30-40k miles, but were piles of crap after that. The 350Z was a fantastic experience though.

Same here, I've owned six cars, four of them have been Nissan's the last was a 2002 maxima. I traded it bc the gas mileage dropped at a certain vehicle mileage and I was no l0onger getting what i should have been even after tune-ups. Been with Mitsubishi ever since and I've been happy with them; a 2005 Galant and now a 2016 Outlander, but I must say I'm very interested in this vehicle and between this, the pathfinder, and the new outlander - all very similar idk yet, I have until next yr though so I've got some time to figure it out.

Definitely a lot nicer, but I love my wife's QX60 and it's CVT on all the long road trips we take. You definitely shouldn't drive it like an ass or it won't last and we do the trans fluid and filter every 40k miles. Drives smooth and better mpg than any 3rd row suv. It's the cheapest SUV and easiest to work on that we've owned but it's definitely decent for what the price was. No problems with it, it has surprisingly been very reliable and we have 112k miles on it and still 1yr of warranty left. It's been paid off too so that's nice.

I'm looking forward to your driving impressions on 09/08 Alex 🙂. I have mixed feelings about the all new QX60, the rear is very closely similar to the Pathfinder. The fake exhaust trim pieces is too obvious that it's fake, especially against this particular exterior color. I'm surprised there's no quad exhaust on this Infiniti, anyhow, excellent first look video Alex 🙂.
@dedreandixon4620
@dedreandixon4620 3 жыл бұрын
Even though it is based on the Pathfinder, I think the similarities end at the (common) orientation of the tail/signals/reverse lights and the black bar. They are shaped completely different... the QX60 is much more fluid and sculpted and actually has a more raked rear window compared to the Pathfinders more boxy and upright look. I think this will be more obvious in person. I am also wondering if the QX60s roofline is lower towards the rear. I really don't think they were attempting a fake exhaust, seems more of a continuation of the chrome from the front end.

Nothing Infiniti makes is worthwhile these days, especially compared to Genesis and the Germans. great they ditched the CVT - and that shitty drive by wire steering was also junk in many of thier vehicles. But infiniti and nissan have the one of the shittiest safety systems ive ever driven - haptic feedback? In a world where we have autonomous features in even a honda civic... lol
