Thank you for your video! I appreciate the encouragement I received from what you shared. Like you said, photography is an important therapeutic process for me as well and I tend to get discouraged thinking nobody else has interest in my photos. Thank you for the inspiration to keep taking pictures!

Amanda. Anytime and I’m glad I could be of some help in some way. Thanks for your comments and viewership.

It's such a cliché quote and I'm not even sure who said it but a photographer once said "photography is your excuse to see the world", it's a quote that's always stuck with me. It's so true to not dictate your photographs based on likes, but to be the moment and get better with every click. Photography can make you see and experience things I could never imagine and it hurts to see creators get worked up over likes.

If I’m on IG, I search a photography hashtag to see pictures.

Yes that makes all well and good but the Instagram algorithm forced the reels format and your force feed nonsense now.

Yah, I follow photographers, and they think I want to see goat faint?……so ridiculous

There is a way to still see the people you follow; tap ‘Instagram’, select ‘following’. It is not straightforward, and yes, IG sucks balls big time with their move, sadly
