Memphis did the small market rebuild perfectly. They’ll be a solid playoff team this year. The core of Ja, JJJ, Bane, and Brooks needs to be together for at least 3 seasons. The more time they have together the better they’ll get and eventually solidly themselves as a contender in the West.

Do good screens and box outs get recorded? I just feel bad for the good role players since that's actually an "assist" and a "rebound". Maybe 0.5 assist per good screen will do but that will greatly change the amount of triple doubles and other records in the NBA. So if there's still none, I believe they should add other stats in regards to these which also boosts the morale of role players and give more options for star players rather than just scoring.

@@tubbylemon too early to say what? The way Zion is built, not even the fact he can't keep his weight down, but he has inverted knees which is more than likely the culprit of his injury woes. The extra weight no doubt is adding to that. Imo, I don't think Zion EVER plays a full season. He's gonna have knee problems his entire career, mark my words. If he doesn't get his weight down and keep it down, he's going to be in and out of the injury report every season. I hope I'm wrong, but ever since he was drafted, this has been the case. He's played only 85 games total in 3 years. I really don't see that improving much if he doesn't get thinner. He's had 4 injuries to his knees already, and a foot fracture, that's not a good sign.

No one who follows the team believed they were better without him. Their streak in his absence coincided with playing some underwhelming and undermanned teams. And Bane acknowledged he and Brooks promised to make extra sacrifices that they did not make when Ja was healthy. His injury made his teammates stop slacking off.
