Let’s switch the tables and she was interviewing a pro Israel person, she never says, why does israel continue and have the right to defend herself when she has already murdered 27,000 civilians. That right is not an alienable right. Let me be crystal clear, israel does not have the right to massacre 27,000 people, injure and maim 67,000, destroy over 70% of homes, cut off water and electricity, prevent aid from coming in and the list goes on. I do not care that Hamas is living with the population, because in every society the bad guys are living amongst us, we don’t go on a killing spree.

I may not be muslim, but the Labour position on this ongoing slaughter is so disappointing, disgusting even. 'The right to defend itself' is a phrase that rings increasingly hollow in the face of the ongoing killing and destruction being meted out to thousands of innocents. Starmer has 2 issues- fear of being labelled anti-semitic like his predecessor (especially after working so hard to prove he's not) and reluctance of a likely future PM upsetting the American position of ongoing unequivocal support for Israel's government. It would be so refreshing to see a UK leader not being afraid and not being reluctant to do the right thing and stand against this horror. The wait continues...

As for voting for Labour, the reason for the parties existence was to look out for the interests of working people in the UK. Starmer and his cronies are funded by the Israeli lobby groups to push their policies. Labour and tories do not serve this country or it's citizens. Israel is not exactly being impartial in targeting all Palestinians and not specifically hamas.

@@Markiboy3what an ignorant comment. Starmer and impartial? He has clearly taken a side throughout this 'conflict'. He has supported collective punishment- which is a war crime, He has strong ties with 'the lobby' and has accepted large amounts of money from them. He is a zionist and being married to a Jewish woman has family ties to Israel. He is a staunch supporter of the state. He uses extremely bias and dehumanising language to refer to Palestinians. Not once in has he criticised the extremist right wing regime or the L-I-Q - U- D party. As leader of the opposition his job is to challenge the policy of the Tories and hold them to account but he's singing from the sane hymn sheet. He has failed to represent the overwhelming sentiments of Labour voters in demanding a ceasefire. He has failed on so many levels.
