In October 2023, Keir Starmer said Israel 'has the right' to withhold power and water from Gaza to Nick Ferrari on LBC, sparking considerable outcry from Labour voters - many of whom are now unsure if they will support the party in the general election.
Fast forward to January 2024 and Starmer's office has begun polling British Muslim voters amid growing concern in senior Labour ranks about the damage done to their core vote by the row over the party's position on the Middle East.
