I can explain the Hannibal Lecter clip a bit. In previous rallies--from a month or two ago--Trump described Hannibal Lecter as a great person, someone to be admired. He did this on multiple occasions, saying how wonderful Hannibal Lecter was. So, he was making two mistakes: (1) Lecter is a character and not real, and (2) Lecter is terrible and not wonderful. Eventually, someone clearly explained to him that Lecter was the _very_ bad guy in a movie, so he shouldn't be saying this. (It goes along nicely with your comments about those who may cheer against Luke Skywalker or Katniss Everdeen.) In any case, it's just as clear that he got the message only partially. Now, he understands that Lecter was bad, but he still seems to be unaware that it's a character's name. So, in the clip, he's trying to clean up his mess from earlier, but failing at it.

"But," says one, "I am a busy man; I have no time for the long course of study which would be necessary to make me in any degree a competent judge of certain questions, or even able to undertand the nature of the arguments." Which made it necessary for councils to keep spending more and more and more every year on housing benefits. Which depleted councils funds. Which caused all sorts of other council funded services to be underfunded and fair few run to the ground entirely. One part of this decline is austerity. The other is housing crisis - and at the basis of housing crisis is buy to rent. Both are responsible.

So how much money is being spent on the NHS private law firms panel? why no inhouse lawyers and legal departments within the NHS that do what private law firms do on the panel? Why have many private third party patient data platforms for NHS patient data, and these third party patient data platforms are data controllers of NHS patient data like the NHS is a controller. Data is the most valuable asset on the planet so why isn't the government being the only controller of NHS data? Private third party platforms should only be data controllers. Data is used to train AI and AI analyses data to provide insights, this is where the economy is globally and nationally, so NHS patient data should only be controlled by the NHS and it should be the sole controller of any transfer of it for research No Private third party should have the responsibility of controller or the economic power of that role. Why is a NHS consultant also a private consultant, who can have a conflict of interest due to their NHS obligation, how does a patient really get a second opinion from a private provider in the UK when a private consultant has this relationship with the NHS? If the NHS has problems is this passed onto private health? and if private health has problems is this passed onto the NHS, we have paid £4000 in less than 1 year for a private opinion but all private consultants are NHS and seem to park their loyalty in that camp, and the duty of candour goes out the window. That is why people are getting 2nd opinions outside of the UK. It is almost like this government funding for public health is also a back up financially for private enterprise, even for private dentist who have NHS capacity but try to talk NHS patients into private treatment once in the dentist chair having their teeth worked on, there needs to be a clear divide between public and private funding, otherwise how does the UK private sector become competitive against it's biggest competitiors if it is propped up by the government in these ways?

40:04 the thing is when you exclude interests you exclude everything because the amount of PFI and overall privatizations of state services in the last 40 years… it’s funny that they leave out what makes it all so expensive, and all of that, mind you, they will tax people for getting incomes from working but not want to tax people on passive capital gains…without a tax reform, and a reform on how government spends its money, the most they can do will end up being bandaids, the problem is by now, not only are the cuts too deep, but they are also infected and in need of medical attention full on with remedy and not just preemptive treatment (for example the country with privatized water and sewage system, side by side with an underfunded NHS). Madness doesn’t begin to describe the state of things, when 25% of British children are in poverty these are third world countries figures.
