I had no idea you struggled this much. You were your usual sendy self. Great times, even if we dont tick all the boxes we hope for. Always great to see you on the trails Dave 🤟

It's the GV effect ..... I struggle with big ones especially if I can't generate enough speed. I find I start to tire towards the bottom & don't have the legs. With quantum its different, 1 different surface, short run with heaps of speed & feels the same as Bare Creek
@malmtb4 ай бұрын
@@DMMTB was that at GV your most scaring day on a bike ever. You still sailed Quantum which I find impressive
@DMMTB4 ай бұрын
@@malmtb yes it was but the jump at the end of quantum is similar to bare creek in that you go high and not long. It’s the long that scares me

Sometimes you're best on one day isn't the same as your best on your best day. You gave a good try and you called it rather than risking an injury, so you can be content with that. Great vid and I'll be keen for a tour guide when I eventually get down there 🤙

@@MTBMcPhee thanks Craig. Yep agreed but I really don’t think that I don’t have any business being on Goodbye Gravity until I can clear all the features on Colonel Senders

A really awesome place and a great group Dave. There were a few tricky jumps and the gap over the corners was really scary but you nailed it as always. The big jumps at the end were sick. Great video mate and thanks for sharing. Ride on🤙

Sick vid Dave. What’s the surface like? It looked loose and slippery🤷🏼♂️. You did good hitting those jumps too dude, it’s always good to know when the risk is more than the reward on those biggies.
@DMMTB4 ай бұрын
Thanks Jules. If you get of line you can get in trouble, ask Huck yeah. It's not so much the height but the distance that worries me
@ptwtf4 ай бұрын
As much as I love Narooma I found grip on those skatey surfaces in the Gravity Zone to hinder my speed and knock my confidence back. Was a hell of a lot better after a drop of rain though.

@@ptwtf yeah a bit the same as me. But I’ll still go again to try getting used to the service

Playing at the limit of your pop, is a dangerous game! I'm all for more than 3 run-ins, if that's what it takes. But if you tag a jump 3 times in a row, it's a good decision to move on. Some of those lips near the end looked nastily steep - far too intimidating for me as well.
@DMMTB4 ай бұрын
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Thanks Darren…. Agreed 3 strikes and I’m out. Yeah the double black was another level. It’s more about the distance to clear was the issue 🙏🏼

I’m sure you have done features similar to goodbye gravity. Zapper, GVs, surely it’s in the same ballpark
@DMMTB4 ай бұрын
@@RideyRodney the issue is that the surface is a bit sketchy if you veer off the middle and it’s the distance to land and long runs
