What is important is that people are stable and really want to have a baby. Besides these days more couples are just living together and staying together. The hairdryer thing is common with lot's of people including myself! It's called 'white noise' which is a continuous sound with no change in pitch etc. It comes from when you're in your mother's womb as it's a similar sound (weird). Same with the hoover, airplane etc.
