Has South Africa Ruined The Safari Industry?
A big topic across facebook groups and even in talks at trade shows is how South Africa is ruining the Safari industry and killing the classic Safari.
I give you my own thoughts here on the subject.
The days of the 6 months Safaris that Roosevelt and Hemingway did are long gone and have not been a thing for decades, the 21st century has became a fast paced world. Air travel has shortened the time of Safaris so has the means of travel such as modern day vehicles so it makes trips much faster pace. But the big topic has been the high fenced game breading industry runied the Safari inudstry? See what I think in this video.

You’re not wrong on the imagine that’s been portrayed. And it is sad that, that is the imagine. But the good quality areas and operating company’s don’t work like that but sadly most of them don’t have KZbins or even that great of social media accounts. How ever I’ll say that even in the most remote areas of Africa where hunting is very limited the hunting is easier than most hunts here in North America that is because the game is actually managed much better that being you don’t have unlimited tags for animals and won’t have any other people beside you and who ever you go with hunting that unit but again that’s good operators and well managed areas. Even Asia and European countries are much the same the game is really abundant in most hunting areas. That is why it does come with a cost to hunt there but even a lot of North America hunts are much more expensive these days.
