People’s dismissiveness with panic attacks is stemmed from the name of it. I’m a big advocate that we call it something else. I think, because of the name, people assume the trigger is panic and so you can just “calm yourself down” from it but it doesn’t work that way. It’s a completely involuntary response that happens to your body and sometimes there is no trigger at all. I’ve had it happen numerous times, for no reason at all. I haven’t had one in many years though. It’s just out of nowhere when it happens.

We all have a brain so therefore we all have both good and bad mental health. Some people are better at dealing with it than others, hence why theres so many mental health struggles in our society!
