Hi Steve, I’ve always said the same to myself as you about posting a blank. That I wouldn’t do it, unless you do some sort of tutorial or useful information in the video (value to the viewer). For subscribers, they follow you for a reason and that’s to see what you’re up to. For a viewer clicking on your channel for the first time, that don’t know you, hmmm, unsure, you want them to come back and hopefully they will see that you do actually catch fish on your other videos, if they look? I would say most first time viewers are going to be scrolling through the video looking for the money shots first. Totally understand the time effort and money we put into try and make a video but personally you want to give value in some form so the viewer finds it interesting and hopefully they will come back. I would say to yourself, how many channels have you watched for the first time that posted a blank video, that you enjoyed that made you want to subscribe? It’s a tough one mate. Hi ya m8 love the vids and been following ya adventures for a long time now keep them coming ...but an here we go the remark about the SEALs ..its not the seals that's the problem its the over fishing of the northsea in general as the seals like anything will only go were there is food ...so they come to where we fish as there is foook all anywhere else ....the Northsea is becoming like a desert ..the change since I started fishing 49yrs ago at 11yrs old is horrendous.. when I was 11yrs old I lived at Cambois I used to watch in amazement the sea 4ft from the shore boil with the Mackerel ..at the mouth of the wansbeck all the kids used to fish the flattie pool as thats what you were guaranteed to catch ...and big shoals of little fish used to swim by ..now there is nothing its just empty ...there was one year a fishing boat came in close to the shore an over the space of a couple of days wiped out the flattie population in Cambois bay all the locale fishermen went nuts ..in the early 2000's me an me m8 were fishing north blyth just off the Island on a very cold winters night at about 1am in the morning waiting on the fish ya know the one ya want to tell ya m8s about when out the darkness a little dog came to us closely followed a short while later by an old bloke ...an the conversation went like this ....us ...how ya deeing ..old bloke ...canny ..us canny cad or what ? old bloke ...eye it is ...bet ya not caught oot ...Us ..not yit but wa hoping ..Old bloke ..way ya can hope but ya ganna catch nowt ... Us ..wis that like ? add bloke ..cos I ve got me nets oot 300yrds like ... that was end of fishing for us that night ...canny story or what ? but and heres the rub we had a good 20mins talking to the old fisherman and he told us of his life and the best time he had fishing ie making money ! and he put it down to this ...his best time was just after the second world war he put it down to the fact the fishing boats couldn't go out to sea to fish because they got shot up by the germans so the fish had time to breed ...roll forward to about 10yrs ago I was working at a fishmongers from North Shields an was telling him am off to were you fishing from in your vid he said it will be poor fishing this year as there was a super trawler 3miles off shore and there nets are nearly 1mile round now weather the size of the net was wrong or not the fishing was crap that year ..so in essence dont blame the seal for lack of fish he has to live ....blame us humans for over fishing ...look at the likes of Norway every one dreams of shore fishing there as the cod are so big and they have Seals there to ...what are they doing that we dont ??? could it be they band net fishing close to shore so the fish can breed or what is it .. makes you think or what ?

The first time i have engaged with Sparta fishing 😀.Now ,firstly i have never done any shore fishing ,done most others, coarse game and bit of boat fishing off Whitby so i am gathering info up for a crack at it when i get some gear.😊😊i am from Yorkshire but daughter in Whitley and just got one of them things people hate ....a camper 😀😀I dont know why they hate them, they think the owners are just wealthy anoraks ,well im'e not wealthy 🤣🤣ime a working lad who's saved up for it and after breaking my back have decided to retire ! Although you never caught you made me laugh out loud ,absolutely get you about idiots on social media about the unhooking mats , they shouldn't be fishing if they are bothered about that after putting steel in their mouth .I think you should keep posting them whatever the outcome, you see conditions when you don't catch ,they might make a note of weather /tides,i dunno,i know nothing about it myself. So,i just wanted to know if you could get a camper in parking spot at Howick or if you know where you could.Ta. p.s.I know why The Pollack went belly up on a normal release ,you hadn't had them on a mat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣keep posting,iv'e subscribed !

@@ROAD658 Haha great comment mate. I love a good camper! Loads and loads of space up this way for them. If you download an app called “Park4Night” which is free, you’ll get some great spots and info on where to pull up. Thanks for watching, much appreciated

I always have a few dodgy patches throughout the year, but just got to hope they don't last too long! Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.

if you only showed the videos when you caught fish everyone would think its easy just cast a bait in the sea and you get fish lol wrong everyone gets more blanks than a catch 👌
