Lalas is such a jerk. I don't even understand how he's some authority on football. 9 goals in 7 years for USA. That does not impress me one bit. Big mouth, arrogance, and definitely over rated by far. I would say that to his face if we were to cross path's.

He's a defender. He's not supposed to be scoring goals. Now, I do agree he's a loudmouth whose commenting expertise is minimal, but amongst the people who've played for the US team, he's in the top 10 in terms of a career.

As someone who doesn't know him at all other than from some of his opinions, he seems fine and often just says it how it is. Also, he scored 10 goals in 96 games as defender. You can't know much about football if your expecting a defender to score regularly 😂
