These Wolbrooks are so damn cool! I discovered the brand via your two mecaquartz reviews, and have been wanting one ever since. Such a great design. And who doesn't love a Skindiver? So comfortable on wrist. Would you call that handset a 'Reverse Broad Arrow' LOL? I'd go for the navy blue/vintage tan lume on the BOR bracelet. And YOOOOOO a massive double congratulations on the Synchron Military & the Black Bay 58!!! It's raining god-tier divers...those are two of my grails! Looking forward to the reviews. Perhaps some side-by-side footage of the Synchron next to your Doxa? Another awesome video, Pete!

Love the perfect vintage esthetic on this watch. Seems they hit it on all cylinders. As good as it looks out of the box, it looks even better on the wrist. Definitely beats out every watch you held it against. Thanks for another great review!

Really like the vintage/retro look and case size of this one. That modded Invicta you showed is cool as well! What model is it, and what did you change (I thought that dial was original at first before you mentioned Invicta)?

The Invicta is an 8926 pro diver. I removed all the branding, and changed pretty much everything but the movement and case!

The case of this Wolbrook looks a bit like the case of the San Martin 62mas. Wolbrook makes very nice watches.

​ @Chillin' wit' Watches When I look at a watch WR, I think of 200m as meaning high impact with water, not real depth. I've had 2 aged watches with 200m WR fail me with sustained 'energetic' use in less than 3m of water. Personally, I would not deliberately thrash about in a body of water with a watch that was marked as 100m WR if I cared about it. I know some people will think I'm silly because of this, especially because the WR rating on Chinese watches can be a bit random compared to the actual watch specs, but that's me.

@@Super3xtr4 I hear you, but Glashutte isn't the only one to have used that design, it was a pretty ubiquitous design found on several vintage skindivers. A quick Google search showed at least 3 different brands using it, other than wolbrook and Glashutte.
