So I can only think of 5 reasons why he wouldn’t say where the body is (in order from least to most likely): 1: He put her somewhere unrecoverable like an incinerator or in the middle of the ocean. 2: He was/is covering for someone else and hid the body for them. 3: he’s just a monster and wants to hide her from the family. 4: There are more bodies with her. 5: He wants to conceal evidence of something worse he did like torture and such. Unlikely we’ll ever find out.

Also, "You can tell how long a cop has been on the force based on how stocky their gut is". Yeah, the reason for that is many cops have MAD drinking issues. I've known several ex wives of officers over the years, each one discussed their ex husband's drinking, cheating, how the other cops cover for their buddies, go out drinking together, how other cops drive drunk cops home from the bars, etc. They have that alcoholic gut where you have a huge belly but it's firm belly fat (not squishy) that you only really get from prolonged consistent drinking

I would like to point out that this is only true if you have not been detained, aka not free to go. That's when you plead the Fifth and speak only to call for a lawyer. But if you are free to go, yes, you can literally just get up and leave.

not true if they have any sort of evidence no matter how miniscule that ties you to the crime you will probably be detained and arrested as soon as you leave. that's a trick they do sometimes when someone's says they are done answer questions the cop will say "ok you're free to leave" and you are free to leave...then they arrest you immediately after you get up to leave.

Panties can be considered "sexual" when referring to women's clothing, but a lot of people in southern states tend to use panties when referring to childrens' undies specifically. I lived in Texas for 10 years, and we were always told to "change our panties"; people rarely said underwear unless they were referring to adults. I think it's just a cultural thing.
