Archbishop of Canterbury under pressure to resign over church abuse scandal

The Archbishop of Canterbury's position is now untenable, according to the Bishop of Newcastle who joined the growing calls for Justin Welby to resign.

More than 6,500 people have signed a petition by some General Synod members urging him to quit, over his failure to act more rigorously over the serial abuser John Smyth.
The abuse of boys and young men in South Africa continued after Justin Welby was informed.
But despite a report which said Mr Welby "could and should" have reported the allegations to police years before Mr Smyth died.

I concur precisely with your comment and I also commend you for not holding back. My own comment supports every thing you suggest and I have every reason to be very strongly suggesting that the communities attached to these establishments are like flies to faeces for both straight and gay nonces. They particularly inflicted terrible beatings as often they could where I was educated at private boarding schools in the 1950s and 1960s. They also violated little boys with impunity. Today I can be imprisoned, ghosted and who knows what else if I point out that both in the church and pretty much all the private boarding schools was carried out by a community that I am now obliged to worship, the LBGTQ community. Just as in being white and heterosexual, let alone being male, I am now supposed to crawl around begging for forgiveness. There remains an endemic culture and endless cabals throughout the entire world where these squalid perverted people protect and facilitate each other. So far, if anyone dares to mention it they will be ostracised, ridiculed and possibly even jailed.
