I am hosting an event for beginners, letting everyone borrow a bey but was scepticle about having to buy 8-12 winder launchers (since in hasbro they are sold separately for 9 quid each). This gave me reassurance that proto launchers will be fine and people can upgrade to a winder later on.

If it’s a loaner then Proto’s should be fine. You’d only need to get 2 launchers per stadium you’re running. I just bring two spare launchers when I run kids tournaments :)
