Superbly done, love it. Knew about Crawford, but didn't realize he was that good. So he was the first English speaking Caribbean country athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in the 100m. Did remember the time when he won it and the strong competition between Quarry and himself.

It is interesting to see the heats and semifinals of the favorites. These are nice memories of 1976. Hasely Crawford deserved it. In 1972 he retired injured. Would he have been able to beat Borzov in 1972? Borzov was at the peak of his performance then. Four years later, in 1976 he was injured in the run-up, could not complete the full training program. Or would Crawford have been faster in any case?

This was Hasley Crawford's chance of proving the critics wrong,by winning Trinidad and Tobago's🇹🇹 first gold🥇 medal in the men's 100 meters at the Montreal Olympics,Canada in 1976.
