It makes more sense to use 0 instead of null for cabbage. 13:41 It worth to write (x^2 + 3) mod 10, because otherwise we need to know precedence of operators. And I would read x^2 + 3 mod 10 as x^2 + (3 mod 10) Btw, thank you a lot for the great videos!

For a video about hash functions there are non real world examples and tips for actual hash functions

as far as I know, devising an optimal hash function takes lots of research, it is not ordinary work for normal engineer. My prof said the PhD people are the ones who make hash function. For engineer, just use the built in mapping/ dictionary
