hashboard repair:Measuring Diode Resistance on a T17 BM1397 ASICs

In this video we look at a spec sheet submitted in our Antminer Discord Channel ( / discord ). You have to set the fluke meter to resistance diode mode and it looks like you may get some useful data comparing chips. This is an easy test without disassembling your board.

Bit of clarification re: "diode resistance". There is no such distinction - resistance is resistance. What you're measuring here is the diode voltage drop, and these values are not Ohms but Volts.

Hello. Do you have to take off the heat sink? will it cause problems if you touch the red lead to the heat sink?
