When Jesus was on the cross, he was still alive, as blood poured from his side, hence Allah saved him. During his recovery helped by his disciples he escaped eastwards to avoid Roman Persecution which was spread in the West. This verse tells us that nobody can fly to heaven: “‘Or you have a house of gold or you go up into heaven; and we will not believe in you went up until you send down to us a book that we can read.’ Say, ‘Holy is my Lord! I am only a man sent as a Messenger.’” (Chp 17 v 93 ) Prophet Muhammad could not fly to heaven because only Messenger, how could Jesus?
