Beautiful piece of music sung by one of the best Cantors! Cantor Azi Schwartz has an outstanding voice that leaves one breathless! His musical abilities are out of this world. I could listen to his music for hours. Amazing....absolutely amazing!!

Je découvre qu'un cantor a la voix d'un ténor et je m'étonne de cette liberté de culte dans une synagogue. je pensais que la prière était plus stricte et plus réservée. Est-ce différent dans une yeshiva ou dans une réunion de croyants hassidiques?

Beaucoup de gens pensent que le judaïsme est monolithique.... Une blague dit qu' il existe autant de judaïsme que de juif !!!...En fait, chaque Synagogue est différente et correspond aux habitudes religieuses des participants chaqu'une choisit son cantor ( hazan en yiddish )et on lui demande d' avoir une grande voix . beaucoup d' entre eux sont des 1 er prix de conservatoire comme Adolphe ATTIA qui fut pendant plusieurs dizaines d' années le hazan de la Grande Synagogue de Paris rue de la victoire . A Paris vous pouvez trouver des synagogue séfarades de rite algérien ; d' Alger et d' Oran .Tunisien , Marocain, etc . La synagogue Nazareth de rite Ashkenaze alsacien . La synagogue reformé de l' U.L.I.F. de la rue Copernic ( celle qui a subit un attentat ) qui est très proche sur le fond de la synagogue Park Avenue ( Mes parents la fréquentait , ils appréciaient surtout de ne pas être séparé pendant les offices !!! )....La Grande Synagogue de Bordeaux qui est de rite portugais . En Alsace , où il y avait , il n' y a pas encore très longtemps , une synagogue dans chaque village ( une schoule comme disait mes grands parents ) qui pratiquait le rite ashkenaze Alsacien /Allemand .
