Our defense seems so scared of just clearing the ball.. fouls or not.. those situations have led to conceding goals across a few games now. Our defensive line still seems shaky. Coop doing a great job on commentary lately keep it up!

The one for Mert is a yellow, the one for the Billericay-player was so red it was visible from outer Space. Too late, too high and out of control makes that foul a dangerous foul. A certain 3-game suspension at a minimum. If it had come under my review I would've given 3.

I can't see the other penalty shout at all to judge from the angle we have The Mert one is probably a little harsh as he only contacts the foot after the ball (and not even on his standing leg), but the other is probably also a little harsh because he isn't that high or lunging, just very very late with studs showing. Both could be yellow or red imo

Such a excellent performance against a side 2nd in the league but gave ourselves everything to do by gifting them 2 stupid goals. Ref then decides he wants some screen time so he sends Apat off for something that was at most a yellow cause he quite clearly wins the ball. I guarantee even if Nathan Wilson had dived, the ref would have still given the red to the Billericay player cause he was desperate to even things out, which then meant he was too afraid to give clear pens to Hashtag

But it’d the Love Island derby 😂 14:05 The big clue it was red, and it’s nothing to do with the foul was that the ref decided to stop play there and then. Had he played the advantage (unless there’s been a law change), the ref could only have given a yellow card. But for a red you can’t go back and show a red like you can with a yellow. Interestingly the ref looked like he was going to let play continue (and go back and show him the yellow) until the Billiercy players started complaining. That’s when the ref stops play. And from that moment, there could be only one outcome. For the record, I don’t think it should have been. Although his studs were up, so 🤷‍♂️

Both reds were a yellow at most. Ref had to send the Billericay forward off, otherwise he’s just not being consistent. The Billericay captain was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when Mert was shown red as well, says it all. And thought Nathan Smith had a bit of an uncharacteristic stinker today! Can let him off though I think, he’s usually so consistently good.

I know Nathan scored Hashtag's only goal but he had to to make up for the second goal conceded, dude was running like it was his first day with legs..like a newborn deer it looked like. I think Sak is costing the team some games. He's incredible on the ball, very quick and a good dribbler. But his passing/shooting is abysmal. You can see it in every corner he takes and every cross he tries. How many of them don't go past the first man?! Even his corner assist today was a very short one that the header had to duck under to get something on it. I think he's a good forward player with pretty much no end product.
